Airfield Information
Cambridge Airport is located North East of London just under an hour by convenient road networks to reach the East of London where the key Olympics venues, such as the Olympic Stadium and Water Park are located. With the capacity to provide helicopter transfers as well as on site chauffeur services and a 45 minute direct rail link into London's Kings Cross Station.
Additionally being in the East of England the airport is only 3 miles from the world-famous City of Cambridge and 11 miles from Newmarket the historical home of horse racing, serving one of the UK's fastest growing regions renowned for education, technology and innovation.
The airport holds a Public Use License and can accept the operation of public transport aircraft up to Boeing 757 or Airbus A320. Maintaining Fire Category 3 with the ability to go up to Category 7 on request together with full ATC cover. It is also suitable for European short-haul operations and intercontinental business jets and the airport is used by Commercial, Charter, Air Freight and Cargo flights.
The security systems and passenger handling facilities have been upgraded for NASP compliance, and there are also UK Border Agency facilities based at the Airport which provide the required border controls.
The airport and Business Aviation Centre (FBO) are open seven days a week - 0700 to 2100 Monday to Friday - 0800 to 1900 Saturday and Sunday.

The GA Centre opening hours are 0830 to 1800 Monday to Friday 0800 to 1900 Saturday and Sunday.
