Marshall Airport Cambridge welcomes in the Airport Operators Association

08 April 2009

Airport Operators AssociationOn Thursday 19th March, Marshall Airport and Business Aviation were proud to host
an Airport Operators Association Networking meeting at the Cambridge airport. The
industry networking event and lunch was attended by 25 representatives from a
wide range of UK regional airports, and enabled members to discuss a range of
current issues directly related to the development of business and general aviation.
The meeting was then followed by a full guided tour of Marshall’s new executive
operations and handling centre, and maintenance facility.

On behalf of the AOA, Tom Needham, Head of Operations Policy, said "Our
Business and General Aviation Network meetings are a key component in
disseminating information on key strategic issues as well as facilitating
wider debate on these matters which greatly assists AOA in representing
views to regulators and key decision makers. It is also advantageous for
AOA and its membership to see developments at airports such as
Cambridge and to experience first-hand the environment in which
airports providing services to business and general aviation operate."
