Newly-formed jet-charter company Ambeo PLC has selected Cambridge as their base as they look to grow their business; they are now officially headquartered at the Marshall Business Aviation Centre at Cambridge airport which they plan to use as their operational base for their forthcoming fleet of Cessna Citation Mustang aircraft.

Ambeo intend to provide ad hoc charter services on Cessna Citation Mustangs - operating up to five aircraft under their own air operator’s certificate within the first 12 months, with the view to expanding the fleet across Europe and operating up to 30 aircraft within five years.

“This is an exciting time for us and we are pleased to be based at the Marshall Business Aviation Centre,” said Ambeo’s CEO Frank Noppel. “In addition to the airport’s great location and facilities, we hope to benefit from Marshall’s experience with Cessna aircraft dating back 35 years when maintaining our own aircraft.”

Ambeo are having their official launch on June 9th which is also Business & General Aviation Day at Marshall Airport Cambridge and the 80th anniversary of the opening of the company’s very own airport.

“We are delighted to welcome Ambeo to Cambridge and in particular to be working alongside them in the Marshall Business Aviation Centre,” said Allan McGreal, Head of Marshall Business Aviation. “This is an exciting time for Ambeo and we wish them all the best for the future and hope this is the beginning of a long term relationship with Ambeo and their forthcoming fleet.”
